INNISFREE FOUNDATION

A CHILDREN'S WILDFLOWER AND NATURE PRESERVE
BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, BUCKS COUNTY
PENNSYLVANIA

INNISFREE  derives its name from the  poem by William Butler Yeats about the Lake Isle of Innisfree located on a little island in Louch Gill, Ireland.   An application is pending  with the IRS  for non-profit 501 (c) (3) approval status.

Innisfree is home to native Pennsylvania plants,
wildlife, fish, turtles, and a grey heron.   Throughout
the small, intimate gardens flow the interplay
of light on water, the movement of moth and butterfly,
the seasonal change of seed to flowering, pod and dispersal,
and the sounds of water running over rocky streams.

Tours and educational activities are provided
for children of all ages.
